UPI Privacy Policy
United Pacific Industries Pty Ltd ABN 65 050 278 361 (trading as Thermoskin, iHealthsphere and Arestape) (together UPI, we, us, our) recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy of personally identifiable information collected about our customers. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, the word 'customers' includes visitors to our website at http://www.upi.com.au/, http://www.thermoskin.com/, http://www.arestape.com.au/ and purchasers of UPI products at http://www.ihealthsphere.com.au/ (together the Websites) who are registering their warranty information.
We are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles ('APPs') in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Types of personal information we collect
Unless you specifically tell us, our Websites will never know who you are. We only collect personal information when we provide our service to you. We usually collect personal information such as your name, address, email address, telephone number, mobile phone number, date of birth, and in purchase instances, your financial details. b) From third parties such as our related branded websites including www.thermoskin.com, www.iHealthsphere.com.au, www.arestape.com.au and https://www.facebook.com/ThermoskinAU.
How we use your personal information
As a general rule, UPI only processes personal information for purposes that would be considered relevant and reasonable in the circumstances. UPI will only collect information that is necessary for the purposes as described in this Privacy Policy, or other purposes specifically communicated to you. UPI collects, holds, uses and discloses to:
a) Give you access to our Websites and other content, products and services available from UPI;
b) Enter you into and manage our competitions and promotions;
c) Administer a contest, promotion, survey or other site feature;

e) Administer and manage our Websites;

At UPI, your personal information is treated with the greatest of care. This also applies to disposal of personal information.
UPI further protects personal information by restricting access to personal information by our staff on a need to know basis only. Physical, electronic and managerial procedures have been employed to safeguard the security and integrity of your personal information.
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. When you place orders or access your personal information, we offer the use of a secure server. All credit information you supply is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our databases to be only accessed as stated above.

In general, we do not disclose your personal information for a purpose other than:

• a purpose you would reasonably expect;

• a purpose otherwise disclosed to you to which you have consent.

Like most business, marketing is important to UPI's continued success. We believe we have a unique range of products and services that we provide to customers at a high standard. We therefore like to stay in touch with customers and let them know about new opportunities. We may provide you with information about new products, services and promotions.
We may disclose your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
You may opt out at any time if you no longer wish to receive commercial messages from us. You can make this request by contacting our Privacy Officer.
Online - Cookies
Web servers may receive cookies from our web server in order to improve the functionality of our website and for security purposes. These cookies do not store any personal information, are not stored on your hard drive and expire when you exit your web browser.
Accessing and correcting your personal information
You may contact our Privacy Officer to request access to the personal information that we hold about you and/or to make corrections to that information, at any time. On the rare occasions when we refuse access, we will provide you with a written notice stating our reasons for refusing access. We may seek to recover from you reasonable costs incurred for providing you with access to any of the personal information about you held by us.
UPI is not obliged to correct any of your personal information if it does not agree that it requires correction and may refuse to do so. If UPI refuses a correction request, we will provide you with a written notice stating our reasons for refusing.
